2015 Officers

Miranda Schrubbe - 2017

Vice President/President Elect

A resident of Fairhope for 17 years, Miranda joined Impact 100 in 2008 as a founding member. She is a graduate of the University of Mississippi and has an M.S. W. from the University of Alabama. She works at her husband’s medical practice, Daphne Family Practice. Miranda has been involved in several organizations, including the Fairhope Educational Enrichment Foundation, the Baldwin County Education Coalition, and the Baldwin County Trailblazers. She was elected to the Impact Board of Directors in 2012, has served on several focus groups, and was Membership Secretary for two years prior to becoming Vice President.

Anne Meyercord - 2016  

Anne and her husband, Champ, moved to Fairhope seven years ago returning to their Alabama roots after living in New Jersey and New York City for over 40 years.  Always involved in community volunteer activities, Anne has been a member of Impact 100  since 2009 and a member of the board of directors since 2011. She has been recording secretary for two years, and an active member of  many focus groups. She is currently in charge of nonprofit outreach and communications.

Kate Lavelle - 2015

Treasurer

Kate has been a member of Impact 100 since 2011 and has been an active member of a focus group. She is an inactive CPA and has held numerous corporate accounting and finance positions, the most recent being CFO of Dunkin’ Brands, Inc. She currently serves on the boards of Sonic Corp, Jones Lang LaSalle, Inc., and Bayside Academy. She lives in Fairhope.

Moren Braswell - 2017

Recording Secretary

A resident of Fairhope, Moren joined Impact 100 in 2009. She attended the University of Alabama and Springhill College. Moren has been involved with several local organizations, including Oznam Charitable Pharmacy, Catholic Service Center, Alzheimer’s Association, and the Eastern Shore Art Center. Elected to the Impact Board of Directors in 2012, Moren has served as the Events Coordinator, and has been a member of several focus groups. She is currently serving her second year as Recording Secretary.

Melanie Harris - 2015

Melanie has been a resident of Montrose for the past 17 years. She joined Impact 100 in 2008 as a founding member. Melanie is a Wealth Management Advisor and CFP® with Merrill Lynch in Fairhope.  She is President of the Fairhope Sunset Rotary. She has chaired several focus groups in Impact 100, chaired the events committee,  and was assistant grant chair in 2014.

Deanna Auner - 2015

Deanna has been a member of Impact 100 since 2011. She has chaired several focus groups and has served on the membership committee. She lives in Summerdale and is General Manager of Homestead Village Retirement Community. She is a board member of the Assisting Living Association of Alabama and board member and Past Chair of the Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce.

Sandra Lee - 2015

Sandra lives in Gulf Shores and has been an active member of Impact 100 since 2011. She has served as Executive Assistant at Gulf Shores & Orange Beach Tourism, President of St. Andrew Women, and President of the Friends of the Gulf Shores Library. She is currently chairperson of the communications committee.

Shannon Spinks - 2016

Shannon is an Eastern Shore resident and owns Gateway Sourcing, a professional recruiting firm. She joined Impact 100 in 2010 and has served on the membership committee and focus groups. She currently is the Corporate Sponsor Chair.

Nancy Fleming - 2017

A resident of Fairhope, Nancy joined Impact 100 in 2009. She is the owner of Art Gallery. Nancy was elected to the Impact 100 Board of Directors in 2012. She has served as chair of the several focus groups and was Grants chair in 2014.

Becky Sappington - 2016

President

Becky lives in Fairhope. She attended the  University of Southern Miss. She has been a member of Impact 100 since 2009. She has served as a focus group chair, and was chairperson of the membership committee for two years. She has been a member of the board of directors since 2011.

Pud Nelson - 2017

A native of Baldwin County who lives on Fish River, Pud joined Impact 100 in 2010. She is a graduate of Tulane. Pud is currently Secretary of South Baldwin Education Foundation, Co-chair of Baldwin County Alumnae Panhellenic, and Tulane University-Newcomb College Co-chair for Reunion 2014. She was elected to the Impact 100 Board of Directors in 2012 and has served as Publicity chair, and chair of several focus groups.

Nancye Wolfe - 2017

Grant Chair

A resident of Fairhope, Nancye joined Impact 100 in 2008 as a founding member. She holds a BS in Accounting from the University of South Alabama and is the CFO at Precision IBC. Nancye served on the Impact Board of Directors previously (2010 – 2012); she has served as chair of the Education Focus Group (2011), a member of the Environment, Preservation and Recreation Focus Group (2013), and as Treasurer (2011, 2012). Nancye currently serves as the Grants Chair.

Rebecca Canale - 2016

Assistant Membership Secretary

Rebecca and her husband, Paul, moved to Daphne in 2004. She has served on the boards of United Way and The Eastern Shore Medical Alliance, is a member of SELF and volunteers with many community organizations. She has been a member of Impact 100 since 2011. She was previously in charge of communications for Impact 100.

Sue Cade - 2016

Sue moved to Alabama from the UK in 1994 and has been a Baldwin County resident since '97. She is a Financial Advisor with Edward Jones in Fairhope, and a past Board Member for Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce. She has been a member of Impact 100 since 2012 and is currently chair of the membership committee.

Marcie Stanley - 2015

After 27 years in pharmaceutical sales Marcie left Atlanta, GA where she was on the Board of Directors for the American Heart Assoc. and moved to Fairhope. She joined Impact 100 in 2012 and has served on the membership committee, chair several focus groups and is currently chair of Public Relations.

Cathy Brumback - 2016

Cathy is a psychologist and has had her private practice in Fairhope since 1994. She and her husband are residents of Fairhope and have two young adult daughters pursing graduate education. She joined Impact 100 in 2010 has chaired and served on various focus committees. For the past two years she has chaired the Events Committee. She is a past pres. of Point Clear Rotary Club and a member of the Read Aloud Baldwin Board. She also donates her time providing musical entertainment for various situations. 

Beverly Smith - 2015

Beverly has lived in Fairhope for 6 years and been a member of Impact 100 since 2011. She has served on focus group committees, the membership committee and is chair of the hospitality committee.

Susan Lovelady - 2015

Assistant Treasurer

Susan lives in Daphne with her husband Joe. Susan’s career is centered in healthcare development, administration, and finance, serving most recently as SVP/COO of Covenant Hospice. Holding a BS in Accounting and MBA from Auburn University, she serves on the Hancock Bank Board, Leadership Pensacola, and of the Executive Board of the Alabama Hospice and Palliative Care Association. She has been a member of Impact 100 since 2012,  and has served on the Financial Review and Membership committees.

Susie Bridges - 2016

Membership Secretary

Susie lives in Gulf Shores and has been a member of Impact 100 since 2008. She received her BA and MAT from Emory University. Her work experience spans from the high school classroom to corporate America to American Indian Reservations. She has worked in computer related fields for 30 years. Susie has served as chair and co-chair of focus groups and was also Membership Secretary during a previous term on the board of directors.

Nora Mandoki - 2017

A resident of Gulf Shores for over 25 years, Nora joined Impact 100 in 2013. She is a graduate of the University of Tennessee. Nora worked for 14 years in personnel and human resource management in hospital settings around the Southeast. Since 1988, she has worked in her husband’s business, Mandoki Hospitality, Inc. Nora has a long history of involvement in and service to the Coastal Alabama Business Chamber, and serves on the Personnel Board of the City of Gulf Shores. Nora has served on the Family Focus Group and the Education Focus Group.

Perry Benton - 2017

A resident of Orange Beach since 2004, Perry joined Impact 100 in 2012. She holds a law degree from the University of Alabama. While at firms in Birmingham and Atlanta, Perry’s work included representation for non-profits and providing legal advice for 501(c)(3) charitable organizations, as well as pro-bono work on behalf of non-profits. Since moving to Baldwin County she has provided legal assistance for Coastal Alabama Tennis, and has volunteered with DAR, Friends of Orange Beach Library, Ono Ladies Club and Ono Ladies Too. Perry has served on several different focus groups as well as the Financial Review Committee for Impact 100.
