2017 Grant Finalists Announced!
IMPACT 100 Baldwin County has announced the 10 grant finalists selected for 2017. Five of these 10 nonprofit finalists will each receive a grant of $90,000 at the IMPACT 100 Baldwin County’s annual meeting on November 1st. Finalists are as follows:
In the Arts and Culture category:
Eastern Shore Art Association, Inc.

PROJECT: Eastern Shore Repertory Theatre Performers SHINES: Completion of ESRT’s Lighting and Sound Systems

Baldwin County Education Coalition, Inc.
PROJECT: Opening Minds and Doors Through Child Literacy
University of South Alabama Mitchell Cancer Institute

PROJECT: Culinary Education: Empowering Baldwin County Residents to Prepare and Enjoy Nutritious, Healthy Meals

IMPACT 100’s annual meeting is scheduled for November 1st at the Daphne Civic Center. The two finalists from each focus area will make a presentation at the meeting. IMPACT 100 members will vote and winners will be announced that same night.
This is the 10th year that IMPACT 100 will award grants to local nonprofit organizations. Since the inception of IMPACT 100 Baldwin County, the organization has awarded 22 grants totaling $2.1 million to nonprofit organizations serving Baldwin County. This year’s awards will bring the total awarded in Baldwin County to $2.6 million across 27 grants.
