Membership is open to any woman over the age of 18, regardless of place of residence, who submits an application and pays the $1,000 annual dues. 100% of the dues is returned to the community through a winning grant. Impact 100 is an all-volunteer organization and depends on additional contributions from members, supporters, and corporations for operating expenses.
Evergreen is a new program for us, beginning with our 2021 membership campaign. Evergreen members pledge to annually renew their membership, so we start each year able to count on a core group of continuing members and focus our efforts on bringing in new members and building our grant pool. Evergreen members will receive special recognition, including Evergreen canvas totes and invitations to special events. You may choose the Evergreen option when completing the membership application!
Impact 100 Baldwin County is a 501(c)(3) under Federal law and all contributions are tax deductible.
Membership can be paid by personal check, business check, credit card, PayPal, matching funds from corporations, or transfer of stock. Businesses or corporations may sponsor a member. A woman may pay her dues by combining her donation with a donation from one other individual or organization; however, only the woman submitting the membership application becomes a member and has membership privileges. Membership dues may be paid in installments, with an initial payment of at least $100 and additional payments to be completed by March 31st. If the full $1,000 is not fully paid by the March 31 deadline, the gifts made to date will be considered a contribution to Impact and the donor will be considered a supporter, not a member, for that membership year.
Occasionally funds are available to subsidize memberships. If a woman is in need of a subsidy she should submit a written request (email or US mail) to the Executive Committee before February 15th. The request should contain 1) the amount of subsidy, 2) why the need, and 3) her proposed participation in the organization. Executive Committee will reply to requester no later than the end of March.
