Making a difference in baldwin County
Jan moved to in Magnolia Springs in 2012. She received a B.A. in Spanish and International Relations and Business and an M.A. in Advertising and Public Relations from the University of Alabama. She retired from the University of Alabama as director of marketing communications in 2005 and then did a year’s consultancy with Crane MetaMarketing in Atlanta, which specializes in branding for schools and non-profits. During her career she has served on many local, state and national boards. Since moving to Magnolia Springs she has become active in the Magnolia Springs Community Association, SELF, St. Paul’s Episcopal Chapel, and the Eastern Shore Art Center. Jan joined Impact 100 in 2014 and has served on the Education Focus Group for two years. She is on the membership committee and creates Impact’s membership recruitment materials.
