ARTS & CULTURE: BALDWIN YOUTH ORCHESTRA
Grant funding provided for the purchase of instruments, equipment, music and trailer; part-time instructors.
ENVIRONMENT, PRESERVATION & RECREATION: LOWER ALABAMA SEARCH AND RESCUE
Grant funded the purchase of radios with accessories to be compliant with US Homeland Security requirements.
EDUCATION: FAIRHOPE-POINT CLEAR ROTARY YOUTH CLUB
Grant was used for the expansion of the youth club's education center.
FAMILY: SHEPHERD'S PLACE
Funds were used to construct handicapped-accessible bathrooms for the women and men participating in this respite care program for adults with Alzheimer's, dementia, Parkinson's, stroke or traumatic brain injury.
HEALTH & WELLNESS: AUTISM AVENUE
Grant funding supported the development of curriculum software that uses voice feedback when a child touches an icon on the screen, to be used by children with autism.
