2024 Grant Finalists Announced
Ten nonprofits in Baldwin County are one step closer to receiving transformative grants. Impact 100 Baldwin County has named the finalists in its 17th year of transformational grant giving. The organizations and projects by category are:
ARTS, CULTURE & RECREATION
Historic Blakeley Foundation: "Bridging the Waters and Connecting the Dots at Blakeley"
Family Promise of Baldwin County: "Family Promise Kids at Play"
EDUCATION
Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Central Gulf Coast: "Baldwin County Big Futures"
Fairhope Educational Enrichment Foundation (FEEF): "Marine and Environmental Science Enrichment for Grades 7-12"
ENVIRONMENT & PRESERVATION
Friends of Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge Foundation: "Exhibits for New Office/Visitor Contact Station"
North Baldwin Animal Shelter: "15 Year Shelter Renovation Project"
FAMILY
Exceptional Foundation Gulf Coast: "The Wheels on the Bus"
Mary's Shelter: "Mary's Village"
HEALTH AND WELLNESS
The CORE Project, Inc.: "CORE Baldwin"
Franklin Primary Health Center, Inc.: "Healthy Mothers, Healthy Futures"
The finalists were selected from applications reviewed by Impact 100 Baldwin County’s Focus Groups in each category.
Impact 100’s annual meeting and the culmination of its grant cycle, “Evening of Impact,” is scheduled for Thursday, October 24th at the Daphne Civic Center. The finalists from each focus area will present their unique projects to Impact members at the meeting. The members will vote, and the organizations that will receive $103,000 each will be announced that night.
